I edge up so closely to 500 I can almost taste it, Attu is upon me and I dont think I’ll make it to 500 before departure.

Here is todays additions:

• 488.  Canada Warbler
• 489.  Gray-breasted thrush
• 490.  Veery

I saw more cool warblers (10) today, Blackburnian, chestnut-sided, numerous orioles, the woods were alive with color.

SNOWY PLOVER

Hudsonian Godwit, Baird’s Sandpiper South Dakota and a Brown Creeper makes 470!

Wow, is there still snow and my lake cabin has eight foot drifts!  April 25….?   Lake froze in tight, three ice fishermen.  Warmer so went behind cabin in marsh walking with little on but binoculars, added 5!  Spring migration has came anyways.

Added Horned Grebe on road in Big Stone NWR, lukily I was at a deserted point on the road

Froze out in Oklahoma Panhandle trying to see Lesser Prairie Chickens, no shows in the 40 mph wind, and freezing rain

but did add somethings in this trip
